Our Story.
Caleb Linburg started up Linburg Lights in 2009 when he was just 11 years old with some helping hands from his family after his Grandma had found and given him and his brother a used Gemmy controller with 6 channels. After starting up a small show with their first controller their parents noticed his enjoyment for creating a display for families to enjoy and so for Christmas he and his brother were gifted with a Light-O-Rama controller, which opened up a whole new world of Christmas display possibilities!
Fast forward over the next couple of years, Caleb added to the show with more Light-O-Rama controllers, a mega tree, singing faces, and of course more lights! One year in particular Linburg Lights won a national Light-O-Rama competition and they received more controllers and equipment as a prize, which helped the show grow even more.
Adding more and more lights and props as the years went by and bringing joy to many families over the Christmas season the show grew older by the year as did Caleb, and in 2016 he used Linburg Lights start up night to propose to his girlfriend, she of course said yes! The show was a great part of our lives and we enjoyed it immensely but life was taking a new turn for Caleb and it was time to say goodbye to the show and so after the 2016 season he sold or put away almost everything not knowing if or when it would ever make an appearance again…
Then in December of 2019 it finally hit us… it’s time to start up the show again in 2020. And here we are! We’re back with an all new design, all and only RGB pixels, new props, new singing faces, and new family members to greet with the festive tradition of pulling up in your warm and cozy car, tuning in the radio, drinking your hot chocolate, and sitting back to watch thousands and thousands of dancing lights bring your favorite Christmas songs to life!
